CMO Strategy Made Accessible
You didn't start a business to manage email campaigns, chase
down a web developer, or guess which ads are actually working.
Fireheart looks at your marketing strategy, tells you what your business actually needs, and gives you the direction to make it happen, hands-on or through the right team.
No cost or obligation · Serving businesses anywhere in the U.S.
Meet the Founder:
Karolina Potterton, MBA-MDA
Karolina has spent the last 12 years wearing various hats in the marketing field, most recently as a VP of Marketing running brand strategy at scale for a global organization.
Along the way she’s managed $15M+ in paid media, built the lead funnels and CRM systems that tie ad spend directly to revenue, and led go-to-market strategy behind $100M+ in pre-launch business bookings, using the same approach she brings to every client: a clear strategy, numbers that tie back to revenue, and follow-through that keeps the pipeline moving.
“I started Fireheart because small businesses and practices deserve that same level of strategy without needing a full-time CMO to get it.”
When you work with Karolina, you're not handed off to a team. She’s the one designing your brand, shaping your local lead generation strategy, and making sure every marketing touchpoint meets best practices — from the first conversation to launch.
A Track Record With:
But the ads have been running the same tired copy for years, the website was built a decade ago by a family friend, or the logo made sense before the business became what it is now. The gap between the two is where trust leaks out.Whether that's a scroll past an ad that doesn't sound like you or a site that hasn't caught up to what the business has become, before a prospective client ever picks up the phone.
“Great work deserves to look like great work.”
Most small businesses are better than their marketing lets on.
You know your work is good.
Your clients tell you so.
01
The Fireheart Philosophy:
Businesses and practices that need one person, not a full-time CMO.
02
Who Fireheart Works With:
01
The practice outgrowing DIY
A business whose reputation has outpaced its website. Referrals come in strong, but the site still looks like it was built in an afternoon.
02
The business without a marketing department
Owner-operated, growing, and past the point where a template and a cousin's advice are enough, but not at the size where a full-time hire makes sense.
03
The founder mid-rebrand
The business has changed since the original branding was built. What used to work no longer does, and it's time for a refresh.
This is a fit if
You want one person handling the work directly, not an account manager relaying it
You want someone who can explain decisions plainly
You have a specific project in mind: a new brand, a new site, or an understanding of what exists
You want the work done well the first time, not iterated on for six months
This is not a fit if
You want a full-service agency running paid ads, SEO, and PR alongside brand design
You're looking for the cheapest option and a one-to-two day turnaround
You want someone to say yes to every request regardless of impact to the overall business
You need daily social media posting and account management
Marketing that moves the needle.
Not a menu of everything.

What Fireheart Does:
-
Meta, Google, and local platform campaigns built around what your business can actually fulfill — audience targeting, creative direction, budget allocation, and monthly performance reviews.
-
Site structure, messaging, and design direction, managed end-to-end so you're not the one chasing down a developer.
-
Email, social strategy, and content calendars — the connective tissue so every channel says the same thing in the same voice.
-
Local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, geo-targeted ads, and neighborhood-level positioning that turns "nearby" into "chosen."
-
Logo, voice, and visual identity built to match where the business is today, with guidelines so the look stays consistent everywhere.
Every engagement starts with a discovery call to determine which of these your business actually needs. Most clients don't need all of them at once.
04
Investment:
Scoped to your business, not sold off a rate card.
Project-Based
Brand, website, or single build
Quoted after the discovery call, based on scope — most projects fall in the range discussed on that call.
Ongoing Retainer
Long-term strategy & marketing support
Billed monthly, sized to project size and the number of channels being managed.
Good questions to ask before you start.
-
It depends on scope — a brand refresh and an ongoing paid ads retainer are priced very differently. You'll get a clear number after the discovery call, before any work starts.
-
Most projects run 2 to 8 weeks. Branding and social strategy tend toward the shorter end; full brand experience overhauls run closer to a month.
-
That's what the discovery call is for. If Fireheart isn't the right fit, you'll hear that directly — and where possible, a referral to someone who is.
-
Not as standalone services. Fireheart focuses on strategy, paid advertising, local marketing, and brand. Day-to-day posting is handled by your team or referred out.
-
Revision rounds are built into the process at each stage, not left until the very end. The goal is no surprises at launch, not unlimited iteration.
